UNA TERRA IN MUSICA

Il Festival internazionale Time in Jazz giunge questo anno alla sua ventiquattresima edizione, sviluppandosi intorno al tema della Terra e proseguendo l’affascinante percorso intorno alla quadrilogia degli elementi.

Terra significa per noi territorio e da anni inseguiamo l’idea di tessere una rete di Comuni coraggiosi e capaci di accogliere in luoghi straordinari altrettanti concerti di musicisti, provenienti da tutte le parti del mondo.

Durante la settimana ferragostana il Logudoro e la Gallura saranno letteralmente invasi da migliaia di persone. Persone che, attraverso la poesia della musica, potranno apprezzare altre bellezze di una terra, la Sardegna, che non è solo mare turchese e coste incontaminate.

È attraverso la musica e l’arte che scopriremo la ricchezza dei luoghi e delle produzioni locali, ma è soprattutto grazie alla poesia dei suoni che avremo modo di scoprire la gente con le sue tradizioni e la sua ospitalità schietta e genuina.

Terra e musica sono un binomio indissolubile. Perché da sempre è il suono terreno il collante capace di unire i popoli e di raccontarli attraverso una lingua che si evolve e che diventa a sua volta tuono o sibilo impercettibile.

Sarà la mappa sonora dei luoghi del festival a fare da guida nell’affascinante percorso di “Una terra in musica”. Mappa che speriamo sarà calpestata dai tanti che transiteranno, in arrivo o in partenza, nell’aeroporto di Olbia Costa Smeralda.

Perché gli aeroporti sono i veri crocevia del mondo e il navigare tra le nuvole su un aereo rende il mondo indistinto, ma poeticamente vivo. È l’immaginazione creativa suggerita dal non-luogo infatti, quello appena lasciato e quello che ci attende, a dimostrare quanto la ricchezza dell’uomo sia da leggere nei suoi gesti e nelle sue mani.

“Una terra in musica” vuole contribuire a questo racconto.

The twenty-fourth edition of Time in Jazz develops around the theme of earth and continues to follows the fascinating influence of the four elements.

Earth for us means territory and for many years we are following the idea to create a network of courageous villages capable to host,  in extraordinary places, concerts played by artists coming from all around the world.

During the week of “ferragosto”, august holiday week, the territories of Logudoro and Gallura will literally be invaded by thousands of people. These people with the help of the poetry of the music can appreciate the beauty of a land, Sardinia, that is more than turquoise sea and uncontaminated beaches.

Its throughout music and art that we discover  the richness of places and typical products but it’s above all thanks to the poetry of the sounds that we will have a way to discover the people, their traditions and their simple and authentic hospitality.

Earth and music are an inseparable combination. From ancient times the sound of the earth has been a powerful element able to unite people together and to tell them with a language that evolves and becomes thunder and imperceptible hiss.

It will be the sound-map of the festival places to make the guide of the fascinating event named “Una terra in musica”. Map that we hope will be trampled on  by many passengers arriving  or departing from the airports of Olbia, Alghero and Cagliari.

Airports are the real crossroad of the world and to travel throughout the clouds on an airplane makes the world indistinct but poetically alive.

It’s the creative imagination that gives us the idea of a non-place, that place just left and that one which awaits us, to show us how the richness of man is to read in his gestures and in his hands.
