Il Centro Laber
Il Centro Laber è un centro polifunzionale di produzione per lo spettacolo e le arti visive, musicali e performative.
Il complesso, con oltre 3000 mq di spazi utilizzabili distribuiti su quattro livelli, è un luogo di lavoro, creazione e ricerca, versatile, attrezzato e polivalente, per la realizzazione di spettacoli teatrali, musicali e coreutici e di tutto ciò che ad essi è connesso (scenografie, costumi, colonne sonore, ecc.).
Nato dalla riconversione, tuttora in corso, di un'imponente e suggestiva struttura industriale dismessa (l'ex-Caseificio la Berchiddese) il centro, acquisito dal Comune di Berchidda e gestito dall'associazione Time in Jazz, ospita dal 2009 compagnie nazionali ed internazionali di danza e teatro, residenze artistiche, concerti, mostre, stage e rassegne cinematografiche, all'interno di un unico progetto di sperimentazione, divulgazione e promozione culturale in continua evoluzione.
 Il fermento e l'attenzione nati in pochi anni attorno al centro, le produzioni realizzate, la partecipazione del pubblico alle attività promosse, dimostrano come il Laber trovi in Berchidda e nel territorio circostante l’ambiente ideale in cui operare e con cui interagire. In questo senso il radicamento di Time in Jazz nel territorio ed il suo essere contemporaneamente un veicolo di promozione culturale internazionalmente riconosciuto, rappresentano uno dei punti di forza del centro e una delle ragioni della sua unicità.

Centro Laber
Centro Laber is a mixed-use arts centre designed for the production of music, performing and visual arts.
The 3,000+ sq.m. 4-storey complex is a versatile, creative and research work-place, a multi-purpose facility suitable for the production of theatrical, music and dance works and any activity connected to them (set design, costumes, soundtracks, etc.).
The complex is the result of the redevelopment (yet to be completed) of a huge decommissioned factory (the former La Berchiddese dairy factory), that was acquired by the Municipality of Berchidda. The management of the facility has been entrusted to Time in Jazz ever since. Since 2009, Centro Laber has hosted both national and international dance and acting companies, supported production through the organization of artistic residences, concerts, exhibits, workshops and film festivals, under a single experimental umbrella project, an ever-changing, dynamic instrument of cultural promotion and dissemination.
The success enjoyed by the project, the great attention paid by the public opinion during the first few years of activity, the productions, the wide participation of the audience in the activities promoted, show that Centro Laber is supported by the people and the institutions of Berchidda and the surrounding areas, which prove to be an fruitful environment to work within. Time in Jazz is deeply rooted in the local territory, but it also serves as an internationally recognized hub for the promotion of culture. Its close connection with the local environment is one of the key strengths of Centro Laber and one of the reasons why it is a unique specimen of the kind.
